Rubén Rodríguez, 32 years old, from karting, is the winner of this second round of competition among 30 drivers from a large part of Spain, winner of the final contested in the best of six, after they went through the previous rounds of karting and slalom, and a slalom semi-final repeating the same circuit.

Rubén Rodríguez now only has the most important thing left to do: enjoy the prize, a full season at CEM-AUTOhebdo SPORT within the Talex CM Promotion.

Congratulations Ruben!

AUTOPÍA III: EDEN FOR CAR LOVERS.

(April 20, 2024)

The thirdeditionThe Autopía event was the consecration of a different event designed by and for motor enthusiasts. The privileged location in El Bosque del Santander in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) and the thousand vehicles on display were the perfect cocktail to attract fans who responded as expected.

The day, with its spring-like weather, even invited us to seek shade among the many trees in the forest. The cars were arranged according to theme, model or country. The vehicles on display included a bit of everything, from pre-war cars to modern supercars. In any case, we were there with our Talex.

15th Climb to Peñas Albas. Estepona.

(April 27 and 28)

The Malaga town of Estepona hosted this April weekend a new edition of Estepona - Peñas Blancas Hillclimb , also known as the Climb of Champions. The extensive route put a great group of drivers to the test, who lived up to expectations and made the public enjoy themselves.

In his debut with the CM, the winner of the AUTOhebdo Mountain Steering Wheel, Rubén Rodríguez, finished third in Category 2 and second in CM Promotion. Right after him in the Category 2 table was Damián Verdera, fourth with the CM , and in seventh place was David Cánovas.

Peñas Blancas has established itself as a national and regional benchmark, attracting the best drivers and motor sport fans. During these two intense days, competitors have faced the challenging 7.5-kilometre long course, the longest in the country.

41 BEACHES OF MAZARRÓN HILLCLIMB. MURCIA

(May 4)

This event, which had been moved to October in previous editions, returns to its usual date, and has provided a more than exciting experience for competitors and fans alike.

The race, which starts in Puerto de Mazarrón and ends in Tallante, is known for its competitive route and the natural beauty that surrounds it.

Our young man from Murcia, David Cánovas, could not miss this event.

IV ATALAYA DE SEGURILLA HILLCLIMB. TOLEDO.

(May 4 and 5)

The IV Climb to Segurilla was celebrated by the hand of the City of Ceramics Team, with no less than 59 teams meeting in this municipality. The racing day started on Sunday with the first of the two training climbs, followed by the two official climbs.

In the single-seater category Peter Flores with his Talex M2  he would meet the predictions by taking first place, stopping the clock at a spectacular 2:03:399, establishing a new record on the track.

52 EL FITO. INTERNATIONAL HILLCLIMB. ASTURIAS.

(May 11 and 12)

A very satisfactory weekend for Talex in the most important Spanish mountain race.

The always spectacular setting of the International Hill Climb to Fito was the scene on May 10, 11 and 12 of the start of the AUTOhebdo Sport 2024 Spanish Hill Climb Championship with the Talex Motorsport team among its protagonists.

Piloted by Damián Verdera, David Cánovas, Rubén Rodríguez and Pedro Flores, four vehicles from the Madrid manufacturer took part in the classic Asturian event, one of the mountain competitions with the longest history of those held in Spain and the only one also valid for the European Championship.

The weekend was a very satisfactory outcome for the entire team. The Talex performed optimally and the four drivers enjoyed the extraordinary atmosphere that surrounded the event once again this year, with a very large number of fans present both on Friday in Arriondas to attend the scrutineering and the start ceremony and on Saturday and Sunday on the five-kilometre-long famous route on the south face of the Fito.

For Damián Verdera, this was his fourth Fito, all of them at the wheel of the Talex in CM specifications. Given his previous experience in the event, the Ibizan driver made good use of the six heats contested during the two days of competition to adapt the vehicle and his driving to the new Hoosier brand tyres that the CMs are fitted with this season. Damián achieved his best time on the Saturday race climb, when he went under three minutes, a time that he was close to in the two on Sunday, and was classified seventh in Category 2 of the CEM AUTOhebdo SPORT, third among the CM and sixth in class 8, which this year includes the 'barquetas' with engines up to 1600, vehicles that occupied the first three positions.

Also with previous experience in Fito, David Cánovas continued his progress and after two seasons participating with the CM-Junior version of Category 3 of the national competition, he made his debut in Asturias without an intake flange on the engine of his Talex and in Category 2 with the aim of gaining pace and points for the next races, in which developments will be added to his vehicle to turn it into a CM . The young man from Murcia ended up achieving his best time in the final heat on Sunday, good proof that his evolution continues to be positive in each race.

As for Rubén Rodríguez, his debut in the Spanish Championship as an official Talex AUTOhebo SPORT driver was very positive. The Galician driver showed great maturity at all times, studying his driving skills after each race with the help of the recording from the internal camera and integrating perfectly into the team. With all this, his times were constantly improving and, after completing the Saturday with a record of 3:01.878 in the first race, on Sunday he came within just three tenths of the three-minute barrier in the second official race and clearly surpassed it in the last, stopping the clock at 2:57.740 to finish one step away from the podium in Category 3 in which he competes with his Talex unit in CM-Promoción specifications.

It was also the first time for Pedro Flores in the difficult Asturian race. For this expert driver, it was a dream he had had for a long time and he was finally able to make it come true. Therefore, although a trivial breakdown, the breakage of a small part of the gear selector, prevented him from taking part in the last climb on Sunday, he was still delighted with his debut at the Fito and hopes to be able to repeat it in the future.

ALASSA CLIMB. CYPRUS (CYPRUS HILLCLIMB)

X CASA DE CRISTO HILLCLIMB. MORATALLA. MURCIA

(May 31, June 1)

The Murcia Region Mountain Championship celebrated its second event of the season with a new edition of the Casa de Cristo Hillclimb, which brought together more than forty teams in Moratalla thanks to the work of the Moratalla Automobile Club, which, as usual, prepared an impeccable event.

In category III, our Totanero David Cánovas was the best with his Talex.

XI BOQUERON PORT HILLCLIMB. AVILA

(June 1)

The climb to El Boquerón rally in 2024 has been very special. After the suspension in 2023, it returns with the nickname Memorial David López Tomico. Beyond the sporting aspect, the good runs of the drivers and the novelty of seeing two truck cabins doing the same thing on this Ávila section, we are left with what happened at the end of the test. The motor family paid tribute to the Ávila driver, who died in an accident last year on this port.

ARINSAL HILLCLIMB. ANDORRA.

(June 14-16)

The AUTOhebdo SPORT Spanish Hillclimb Championship returns to Andorra seven years after its previous visit to the Pyrenees with a slightly shorter version of the initial part compared to the usual route in previous editions. The length on this occasion was 3,750m, where the initial and final fast parts alternate with the central part in which up to five "paellas" are linked together, making up the most popular area for fans.

Excellent result for #TalexMotorsport In this second test of the #CEMAUTOhebdo which was held from June 14 to 16. The three team drivers climbed onto the podium in their categories, Rubén Rodríguez finished second in the 3rd and Damián Verdera and David Cánovas were second and third in the 2nd.

  • Ruben Rodriguez

In what was only his third participation with the Talex, the winner of the #VolanteAUTOhebdo mountain race, Rubén Rodríguez, confirmed his great potential in Arinsal. The Galician driver adapted very well to the Andorran climb and was already on the podium on Saturday, when he achieved the third best time in Category 3 in the race that closed the first day of competition.

  • Damian Verdera

The two Talex CM riders more than met their objectives in Arinsal and finished on the podium in Category 2 at the Andorran event. Damián Verdera finished second despite an electronic problem on Saturday that prevented him from taking part in the practice sessions. Finally, the work of the Talex technical team allowed the Ibizan rider to complete the first race session with enough time to qualify third in his category. On Sunday, with his Talex engine at full capacity, Damián was able to increase his pace to finish second in Category 2 and first in the CM .

  • David Canovas

David Cánovas finished just behind his teammate in both classifications. The young Murcian rider continued his progressive adaptation to the Talex CM in Arinsal and improved his times in each race, riding very consistently and without making mistakes on a track of notable complexity and totally new to him. His good performance was rewarded with the third step of the podium in category 2.

II TORRELAGUNA HILLCLIMB. MADRID.

(June 22)

Second edition of the Timed Hillclimb Section in Torrelaguna. Event valid for the Madrid Mountain Championship organized by the Madrid Automobile Federation, the Torrelaguna City Council and Rasante Sport.

A 4,278-metre section where our drivers Rubén Rodríguez and Pedro Flores were able to achieve very good times, achieving first and second place in the Madrid Single-Seater Cup classification.

50 CHANTADA HILLCLIMB. LUGO.

(July 26-28)

A satisfactory result for Talex in the most classic Spanish mountain race.

Before reaching the summer break, this weekend the #CEMAUTOhebdo Spanish Mountain Championship was held in one of its most classic events, the climb to Chantada.

The Galician competition celebrates its fiftieth edition with high temperatures and a large number of spectators on this spectacular route in the Ribeira Sacra in Lugo. The Chantada track is just under four and a half kilometres long, with a narrower, twisty initial half and a second part in which the most powerful vehicles reach speeds well above 200 km/h. Its current record is 1'37” at almost 159 km/h.

The weekend ends with a satisfactory balance for the entire #talexmotorsport team. The four drivers, Damián Verdera, David Cánovas, Rubén Rodríguez and Pedro Flores, were able to enjoy their vehicles to the full, almost reaching the podium. Fourth position for Rubén in Category 3, who continues to progress in driving the Talex. In Category 2, fourth position for Damián, despite mechanical problems with his CM  that prevented him from participating in two races. Fifth and sixth positions for Pedro and David.

THE EFFORT BEHIND A RACING WEEKEND.

(Chantada July 26-28)

What is not seen.

This sentence can be applied to many aspects of life, but in the context of a race weekend, we are talking about all the efforts, generally unnoticed but essential, to achieve a satisfactory result. Not to mention if we also bring home some prizes.

In the days before the vehicles arrive at the meeting point, there is an immense amount of work that takes place at the Talex facilities. Transporting the entire team, including cars, tools, spare parts, meals, insurance, registrations... is a monumental task. The truck is organized and loaded at least two days before the race. All the logistics is an aspect that is rarely glimpsed.

We usually get up early. And very early. It is 4:00 am on Friday, the truck is already on the move. Destination: Chantada. With the required stops, we do not arrive before 1:00 pm. We collect the documentation and we are informed of the assigned place in the assistance area. It is very hot. Without a pause, we proceed to check the vehicles while the tents are set up next to the truck. It is 7:00 pm. We may have eaten something. Meanwhile, the vehicles remain in the closed park until the subsequent exhibition in the streets of the city. It is a party that we cannot attend. Getting everything ready for tomorrow is essential. Night falls, fatigue makes an appearance. We have had dinner together with the team, drivers and family, spending a time laughing with anecdotes from past races. 00:30 am.

It starts on Saturday. You mustn't miss breakfast! Galician empanada and Murcian grapes. We will face two practice runs and one official one. The sound of engines eager to race begins, the smell of gasoline coming from the furious exhaust pipes, the smell of hot tires, burnt asphalt... Between runs, times are reviewed with the drivers, the video from the onboard camera is studied and the necessary adjustments are made according to their instructions. Cleaning wheels, checking nuts, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning again: you won't find any glamour here. Nerves, tension, changes in gear with hardly any time, mechanical failures that prevent you from going out in some run, tiredness, heat, heat and more heat will appear. But, we have come for this, haven't we? To work for and so that the driver can race. There is no rest until the tests have finished and everything is prepared again for tomorrow. Did you eat? You don't remember. Night falls again. And dinner becomes once again that time for shared anecdotes.

On Sunday there is a practice run and two official runs. 7:30 am. Another hot day is expected. If the programme goes according to plan, we will be heading home by 5:00 pm. How naive! Several crashes and car breakdowns cause a long delay. At that time our vehicles are arriving from the awards ceremony in the parc fermé. This time we have come close to the podium from the fourth positions in the different categories despite suffering another mechanical failure in one of the CM's. And there is no better way to calm the accumulated physical and mental fatigue than going down to the Miño and enjoying a nice refreshing bath before leaving. It will be 4:00 am on Monday when we are back at the Talex facilities remembering that true success is not measured in trophies but in the personal satisfaction of having once again given our best version in effort and perseverance.

Plain or labeled?

(August)

When we talk about labeling a Talex we refer to the process of applying graphics, texts or images on the surface of the vehicle, for aesthetic, advertising or identification purposes.
Wrapping offers Talex Motorsport a wide range of possibilities for customising the design. In addition to aesthetics, it is also a mobile marketing tool for companies, transforming the car into a rolling advertisement.
One of the advantages of lettering is its reversibility. It can be removed without damaging the surface of the car, allowing it to be updated regularly.
Labeling is a process full of options and possibilities.

And as the saying goes, it's all a matter of taste, right?

VII PONTECALDELAS HILLCLIMB. PONTEVEDRA.

(6-8 September)

The last qualifying round for the Galician Mountain Championship was held in the town of Ponte Caldelas in Pontevedra. At home, an extraordinary opportunity for our Galician driver to continue getting used to driving the Talex and accumulating kilometres in preparation for the end of the season with Onil and Ibiza on the horizon.

CYPRUS HILLCLIMB CHAMPIONSHIP

(September 15)

¡Three out of three!
After two
previous victories on the mountain climbs of Alassa and Lefkara,@loucas_jiklas, at the wheel of his Talex, again very comfortably steps onto the podium in its highest position in Pissouri. Third and final round of the event organised by@time_attack_club_cyprus.

Once again, we congratulate Loucas Christoforou for this magnificent season.

XX LA CABRERA HILLCLIMB

(September 21)

Test valid for the Madrid Mountain Championship organized by the FMA, the La Cabrera City Council and Rasante Sport.

Four Talex piloted by Pedro Flores, Rubén Rodríguez, David Cánovas and Ángel Castro participated in this day marked by intermittent rain. The unstable weather was not an obstacle for either the pilots or the fans present on the 3,340-metre route and service areas.

Despite the rain, Pedro Flores and Rubén Rodríguez demonstrated their skill by securing second and third place in the overall classification of the Madrid Single-Seater Cup

ONIL HILLCLIMB. Alicante.

(October 4-6)

There was a great atmosphere this weekend at the Onil Hillclimb. Thousands of fans have filled the ditches from early on along the entire route, some prepared to spend the night in the area. The day was held with hardly any incidents, where the heat also played a role.
In Category 2 we have missed Damián Verdera. The Balearic rider, who has been a constant throughout the championship, arrived in Onil as leader after Mario Asenjo was disqualified in Chantada. Pedro Flores from Madrid has managed to complete the podium, and has won in class 8 by less than two seconds over David Cánovas, our young driver from Murcia.
Category 3 brought us an exciting conclusion after a competition full of alternatives and with minimal differences between its protagonists. Rubén Rodríguez, even with a mechanical failure repaired in time, less than a second and a half behind the winner, was classified in fourth position.

Congratulations to all of them for the good work!

We have our sights set on the last test of the Spanish Mountain Championship, the weekend of October 18-20 on the island of Ibiza.

39 IBIZA ISLAND HILLCLIMB

(October 18-20)

The AUTOhebdo SPORT 2024 Spanish Hill Climb Championship closes its season in Ibiza on October 18, 19 and 20. Spectacular weather and a never-failing crowd.

In Category 2, the local Damián Verdera was ahead in the classification, thanks to the points he earned with his Talex in the CM  group in the first three races of the year, El Fito, Arinsal and Chantada. The Balearic competition decided the title of Category 2, which was won by Joseba Iraola. Although a collision prevented Damián from taking part in the Saturday race, once his Talex was repaired, the Ibizan rider recovered on Sunday by setting two good times that allowed him to secure second position and take the title of class 8 with his CM plus.

As in Onil, second place in Category 3 also went to Aitor Manso. Just seven tenths later was Rubén Rodríguez, who ended his positive season with the AUTOhebdo SPORT Talex by climbing onto the podium in Category 3 for the second time.

We miss David Cánovas, who stayed at home competing in the third round of the Murcia Regional Championship, Bahía Portman Hillclimb.

And we cannot finish without thanking our sponsor One Ibiza Suites for the wonderful welcome they give us every time we travel to this island.

Congratulations to our drivers for this great season!!

V Bahía Portman Hillclimb. Murcia.

(October 19)

After 20 years of absence, the Escudería Carthago in collaboration with the City Council and Motoclub La Unión, recovers Bahía de Portman Hillclimb in its fifth edition on the ramps that link the town of Portman with La Unión.

The fans responded to the call and enjoyed a sunny day, a festive atmosphere on the roadsides and good organisation. The route, with a distance of 3.9km, is quite complete, including different types of curves that do not make it slow.

Our young David Cánovas took the victory in Category III.

A full weekend for Talex and its drivers! Congratulations to all.

XVII El Vellón Hillclimb. Madrid.

(October 26)

Test valid for the Madrid and Castilian-Manchego Mountain Championship organized by the Madrid Federation of Motorsports and the ATKmotorsport Madrid Club.

A 4,620-metre section with an average gradient of 4.31%, sometimes wet due to the rain that did not scare away the fans and where Pedro Flores was able to achieve very good times, achieving second place in the classification of the Madrid Single-Seater Cup. Third in the general classification.

This time we had the presence of Lucas Genovés, for the first time participating with one of our Talex. Very comfortable and learning in each race, he got third place, just 6 thousandths of a second behind Pedro.

Congratulations to both of them and thanks to Lucas for trusting Talex Motor Sport!

Birizdokart Circuit. Kecskemét. Hungary.

(October 26)

At the end of October, the penultimate round of the Hungarian National Slalom Championship season was held, where we had the participation of the young pilot Levente Gyopos, achieving first place in both his category and the absolute category.

Slalom tests primarily assess the driver's ability to control the vehicle and their ability to make quick and precise turns. It is a highly technical discipline and requires quick reflexes, good coordination and speed control.

Congratulations to Levi for this first place! 🥇

XV Campo López Hillclimb. Lorca. Murcia.

(November 29-30)

The Murcia Region Mountain Championship and the Murcia Region Rallysprint Championship are coming to Lorca for a new edition of the Campo López Hill climb and the Paco El Billetes Rally, events that have been organised again by the Lorca Automobile Club.

The Lorca club has proposed several new features, including the checks on Friday evening and the start ceremony, which included a show section in the venue itself for the enjoyment of drivers and the multitude of fans who attended the event. On Saturday, the stages of both categories, mountain and rallysprint, were held.

Our riders, David Cánovas and Lucas Genovés, have posted very good times, both of them getting onto the podium in Category 3. P1 for Lucas, in his second participation aboard a Talex, P2 for David, less than a second behind.

We want to highlight the photo of David hugging his father. That hug surely has a more special meaning for them. It probably symbolizes not only personal achievement, but also the special connection between a father and a son who share the same passion: the world of motorsports.

Thanks to them for these moments.

IFEMA. XXI RETROMÓVIL EDITION.

(November 29 - December 1)

Retromóvil Madrid is the capital's most traditional fair in the collector's vehicle sector, which was held last weekend in November at IFEMA MADRID. An exhibition of authentic gems, rallies, a parking lot for classic cars, a commercial area with accessories and all kinds of products, presentations, tributes and more, at the classic car fair for the most demanding enthusiasts.

Within the section reserved for AUTOhebdo SPORT, one of the Talex that has participated this season in the Spanish Hillclimb Championship could not be missing. A great success where many visitors came to the stand to ask and be interested in the cars.

KARTING FACYL AWARDS

(December 15)

We finished the year at the Kotarr Circuit where two of the winning drivers of the 2024 Castilla y León Karting Championship were able to enjoy their prize by driving one of our Talex.

A very cold morning with intense fog did not prevent all those present from enjoying the day.

As always, it is a pleasure to visit the facilities of the Kotarr Circuit.
